Removal and installation of the forward stabilizer of cross-section stability

REMOVAL

1. Block back wheels, cock a manual brake, then поддомкратьте a forward part of the car and establish it on axial props. Remove both lobbies of a wheel. 2. Remove the bottom guard of the engine (where is available) and a reception pipe of the muffler/converter (address to the Head of the Power supply system and release). 3. On the models equipped Manual transmission, disconnect draught of a choice of transfer from transmission as it is described in the Head Transmission. 4. On models where the stabilizer of cross-section stability is attached directly to the bottom levers (all models, except Scenic), ослабьте and remove nuts and bolts, fastening assembly clips of the stabilizer (address to an accompanying illustration). Unhook both clips and remove them from levers. 5. On models where the stabilizer fastens to the bottom levers by means of bars (Scenic), turn away fixing nuts and bolts and remove fixing clips of the stabilizer from a stretcher (address to an accompanying illustration). 6. Deduce the stabilizer of cross-section stability from under the car and remove rubber plugs. 7. Attentively examine stabilizer components on presence of signs of deterioration and damages, giving particular attention to assembly plugs. Replace the worn out components as required.

INSTALLATION

1. Establish assembly plugs on the stabilizer, then deduce it into position. Place plugs so that their cuts have been turned to a stretcher, then establish fixing clips and slightly tighten bolts. 2. On all models, except Scenic, grease trailer assembly plugs of the stabilizer with universal greasing (Renault recommends to use Molykote 33). Establish plugs on the stabilizer ends, then place fixing clips into position. Establish bolts and nuts of clips and slightly tighten them. 3. On models Scenic place linings between the stabilizer and the bottom levers. Insert binding bars, then establish the top linings and nuts and tighten them reliably. 4. On models with Manual transmission connect draught of a choice of transfer as it is described in the Head Transmission. 5. Attach a reception pipe of the muffler/converter (the Head of the Power supply system and release), then establish the bottom guard of the engine (where is available). 6. Establish wheels, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts the effort resulted in Specifications. 7. Shake the car to adjust position of components of the stabilizer, then tighten details of fastening of the stabilizer the effort resulted in Specifications.
