Check and adjustment of the moment of injection

 CHECK

1. Disconnect a cable of weight from the battery (address to the Head the Electric equipment of the engine for models Scenic).

If the autoradio tape recorder in your car is coded before to disconnect the battery, be convinced that you know a code.

 CHECK

1. The micrometer with a dial and a special probe (tool Renault Mot now is required. 1079) (address to an accompanying illustration).

2. Remove a stopper of a control aperture from the top part of the pump and clean a sealing washer.

3. Enter a probe into an aperture so that its tip leant against an adjusting ledge of a rotor (address to illustrations).

4. Place a micrometer with a dial on the case of the fuel pump. The micrometer should take places on a probe so that it плунжер settled down on the course middle.
5. Remove an adjusting pin, then turn коленвал approximately on a turn quarter counter-clockwise and dump micrometer indications on a zero. Check up, that the probe settled down on a surface of a sealing washer of an adjusting aperture.
6. Slowly turn коленвал clockwise (having returned the engine in ВМТ) while the adjusting pin does not become again.
7. Read the micrometer indications, the received result should correspond to the value specified on a label on a cover of the pump.
8. If the received result does not correspond to the resulted data, operate as follows.
9. Turn on and uncover gear drive a belt from a cogwheel of the fuel pump.
10. Clean a probe and block a pump pulley special tool Renault Mot. 1200-01 (address to Section Removal and installation of the fuel pump).

11. The pulley of the fuel pump of type “МАА” (Micrometric Angular Adjustment) consists of a nave/plate and a gear frame which are fastened together by the central bolt. In a plate there are three apertures for the special tool (Renault Mot. 1358 for a pulley “МАА” and gear drive a belt “HTD” or Mot. 1358-01 for gear drive a belt “HTD2”) which is used for rotation of a shaft of the pump. But at first the central bolt by means of tool Renault Mot is weakened. 1359 (address to an illustration).

12. Establish the special tool in three apertures and turn a plate so that three pins of the tool have entered into three grooves in an advancing ring (address to an accompanying illustration).

13. Now rotate assemblage of the tool of a plate clockwise while the tool will not be blocked. Thus the pulley will be established in position to start adjustment.
14. Remove blocking tool of a pulley and turn коленвал on 2 turns (establishing the piston №1 back in ВМТ) until the tool will not be inserted again.
15. Now turn tool Mot. 1358-01 counter-clockwise while on a micrometer the correct moment of injection will not turn out. If the injection moment exceeds the necessary value in the course of installation, turn the tool back on 0.7 mm below value before to repeat adjustment.
16. Remove the special tool, then tighten the central bolt (the left carving) the moment of an inhaling of 20 Nanometers, using tool Mot. 1359.
17. Remove an adjusting pin.
18. Establish tool Mot. 1200-02 to block a pulley. Turn коленвал manually counter-clockwise that the blocking tool has concerned a pulley.
19. Tighten the central bolt the moment of an inhaling of 90 Nanometers, using tool Mot. 1359.
20. Remove blocking tool of a pulley, turn коленвал on 2 turns and once again check up installation of the moment of injection of the pump.

If it is impossible to establish the correct moment of injection, check up adjustment of cogwheels of a cam-shaft and the fuel pump (address to an illustration "Position of gear wheel ТНВД"). The arrangement is considered correct if all adjusting labels are well levelled and if from a label on a cogwheel of a cam-shaft to a label on a cogwheel of the fuel pump 30 teeth is exactly.

21. Correctly having established the injection moment, remove a micrometer. Take a probe from an aperture and establish a stopper with a sealing washer.
22. Connect топливопроводы atomizers to the pump, reliably clamping connecting nuts.
23. Remove the polyethylene bag closing the generator.
24. Lower the car on the earth and attach a weight cable to the battery.
25. Fill and pump over fuel system (address to Section Pouring and prorolling of fuel system).
26. Check up and if it is necessary, adjust turns of idling and delay turns as it is described in Section Check and adjustment of turns of idling and delay turns.

ENGINE F8Q 620 - PUMP BOSCH

 CHECK

1. The micrometer with a dial, a special probe and a nozzle which are rolled in an aperture on the pump end (tool Renault Mot Is required. 856) (address to an accompanying illustration).

2. Turn away connecting nuts, fastening tubes of atomizers to the fuel pump of a high pressure. Close open connecting муфты not to admit dirt penetration.
3. Turn on заглушку on the left side of the fuel pump, between connections of tubes of atomizers.
4. Insert a probe and connect it to a micrometer placed directly ahead of an aperture.
5. Remove an adjusting pin and turn коленвал approximately on a turn quarter counter-clockwise, then dump micrometer indications on a zero. 8. If the received result does not correspond to the resulted data, operate as follows:

Loosen the three bolts of the right support of the pump and a nut of the left support of the pump, then slowly rotate the case наоса, yet will not find position at which the micrometer will show the value specified in Specifications. Then tighten fixing nuts and bolts, watching, whether indications on a micrometer have changed.
10. Remove an adjusting pin and turn коленвал on one and three quarters of a turn clockwise. Be convinced that the micrometer shows zero value.
11. Slowly turn коленвал clockwise (establishing the piston №1 in ВМТ) while the adjusting pin cannot be again inserted. Repeatedly check up value of the moment of injection.
12. If adjustment, ослабьте fixing nuts and pump bolts is necessary, and repeat the actions described in paragraphs above.
13. Correctly having established the injection moment, remove a micrometer, a probe and establish заглушку, clamping its effort resulted in Specifications. Tighten three bolts of the right support of the pump and a nut of the left support of the pump the effort resulted in Specifications.
14. Connect tubes of fuel atomizers to the pump and reliably tighten connecting nuts.
15. Remove a polyethylene bag from the generator.
16. Remove an adjusting pin.
17. Lower the car on the earth and attach a weight cable to the battery.
18. Fill and pump over fuel system as it is described in Section Pouring and prorolling of fuel system.
19. Check up and if it is necessary, adjust turns of idling and delay turns as it is described in Section Check and adjustment of turns of idling and delay turns.

ENGINES F9Q - PUMP BOSCH

For adjustment of the moment of injection on these engines the set of special tools Renault is required. Therefore, if tools are not present, for adjustment of the moment of injection address on HUNDRED Renault.

 CHECK

1. The micrometers, a special probe and a nozzle which are rolled in an aperture on the pump end (tool Renault Mot Is required. 856) (address to an illustration).

2. Remove a ventilation oil separator картера.

10. Disconnect a cable of weight from the battery (address to the Head the Electric equipment of the engine for models Scenic), separate a socket of electroconducting of the electronic module of management, then turn on and remove the module from an arm.
11. Disconnect two fuel hoses from the top part of the fuel filter.
12. Disconnect a plait of wires of the pump in the main socket attached to an arm of the electronic module of management. Release electroconducting from fixing скоб and move it aside.
13. Disconnect a socket of electroconducting from a fuel heater on the filter.
14. Turn on and remove assemblage of the fuel filter and an arm of the electronic module of management.
15. Turn on and uncover a cogwheel of the fuel pump.
16. Establish the tool keeping a cogwheel of the fuel pump (Renault Mot. 1200) (address to Section Removal and installation of the fuel pump).

17. The pulley of the fuel pump of type “МАА” (Micrometric Angular Adjustment) consists of a nave/plate and a gear frame which are fastened together by the central bolt (the left carving) (address to an illustration "Design of a cogwheel of type“ МАА ”"). In a plate there are three apertures for the special tool (Renault Mot. 1358-01) which is used for rotation of a shaft of the pump. But at first the central bolt by means of tool Renault Mot is weakened. 1359 (address to an illustration).

18a. Establish the special tool in three apertures and turn a plate so that three pins of the tool have entered into three grooves in an advancing ring (address to an illustration).

18b. Pay attention that in the absence of tool Mot. 1358-01, tool Mot. 1358 it is possible to alter, having ground off three pins on 1.5 mm (address to an accompanying illustration).

19. Now rotate tool/plate assemblage clockwise while the tool will not be blocked. Thus the pulley will be established in position to start adjustment.
20. Remove blocking tool of a pulley and turn коленвал on 2 turns (establishing the piston №1 back in ВМТ) until the tool will not be inserted again.
21. Now turn tool Mot. 1358-01 counter-clockwise while on a micrometer do not receive the correct moment of injection. If the injection moment exceeds the necessary value in the course of installation, turn the tool back on 0.7 mm below value before to repeat adjustment.
22. Remove the special tool, then tighten the central bolt (the left carving) the moment of an inhaling of 20 Nanometers, using tool Mot. 1359.
23. Remove an adjusting pin.
24. Establish tool Mot. 1200-02 to block a pulley. Turn коленвал manually counter-clockwise that the blocking tool has concerned a pulley.
25. Tighten the central bolt the moment of an inhaling of 90 Nanometers, using tool Mot. 1359.
26. Remove blocking tool of a pulley, turn коленвал on 2 turns and once again check up installation of the moment of injection of the pump.

34. Lower the car on the earth and attach a weight cable to the battery.
35. Fill and pump over fuel system as it is described in Section Pouring and prorolling of fuel system.
