Separation and replacement of hoses of system of cooling

Hoses should be separated only after the engine has cooled down to avoid a burn hot steam and splashes.

 REPLACEMENT

1. Examine, described in the Head Maintenance service, and reveal the damaged hose.
2. Merge a liquid from cooling system. If the cooling liquid is not subject to replacement, collect it in the pure container.

3. Loosen the collars of fastening of a hose. On described models three types of collars are used: worm, spring and coupling. Disposable, and after their removal it is necessary to replace collars of coupling type with standard collars of worm type. Displace collars on a hose from junctions.

4. Accurately remove a hose. New hoses act in film rather easily, on the old car they, probably, have become attached to branch pipes.
5. If to remove a hose it is not possible, try to release it, having turned the end on a branch pipe. Softly wring out the end of a hose a blunt tool (for example, a flat screw-driver), watching to damaging branch pipes or hoses. Remember that the inlet branch pipe of a radiator is fragile; do not make excessive effort at attempt to remove a hose. As a last resort, cut a hose, then cut the become attached end lengthways on two parts. Though hoses expensive enough, all of them are cheaper, than a new radiator.
6. At hose installation at first spread on it collars, then place a hose into position.
7. Be convinced that the hose is laid correctly, then displace collars on its ends tighten them.
8. Fill cooling system.
9. Carefully check up system on presence of leaks.
